Sania Mirza has not found love again after she separated from cricketer Shoaib Malik. The Tennis legend confirmed that same in the new promo of the Great Indian Kapil Show. In the promo attached to the recently released episode starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Kapil confirmed he will be hosting Mary Kom, Sania Mirza and Saina Nehwal in the next episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. In the promo, Kapil spoke about various subjects, including Sania’s life.
The promo opened with Kapil introducing the ladies and teasing the gags he has in store for them. While Mary gets confused between Sania and Saina, Kapil teased Mary about her marriage as well. The comedian then reminded Sania that Shah Rukh Khan offered to play her love interest if a film on her was made. Sania cut Kapil off to say, “Abhi mujhe pehle love interest dundna hai (I have to find a love interest first).” Her answer left Kapil and Archana Puran Singh in splits.
For the unversed, in 2016, Shah Rukh had launched Sania’s biopic, titled Ace Against Odds, and said he would not only be open to producing a film based on the book but also starring in it. “Whenever there is a movie made on Sania, I think it will be very inspiring and it will be fantastic. And I don’t know… ask her if she will let me play her love interest. But, I will produce it for sure,” he said at the launch, as reported by NDTV.
Meanwhile, Sania’s comments on her love life comes months after her ex-husband Shoaib Malik got married for the third time. The Pakistani cricketer married popular Pakistani actress Sana Javed. They shocked everyone by sharing wedding pictures in January this year.
Sania married Shoaib in Hyderabad in 2010, with their Walima ceremony taking place in Sialkot, Pakistan. They welcomed a baby boy in 2018 and named him Izhaan Mirza Malik. In January of this year, Sania’s team released a statement confirming that the couple had been separated for several months, urging fans not to engage in speculation.
