Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn reunited for a new Vimal Elaichi ad. And this time around, they were joined by Tiger Shroff. The Bade Miyan Chote Miyan actor seemingly replaced Akshay Kumar, seen in previous ads with SRK and Ajay. The new ad premiered during the IPL match on Friday night. In the video, Shah Rukh and Ajay were seated in the car, battling traffic, when Ajay opened a packet of Elaichi.

Soon, Tiger joined in and the trio was seen having fun. The ad also featured Amyra Dastur on a bike. The video ended with Tiger jumping into Ajay’s car and the trio delivered the brand’s tagline. Watch the video below:

Fans loved the trio’s energy in the ad and suggested they star in a film together.

Previously, Akshay was seen in the ads with the duo. However, he was criticised for endorsing the tobacco brand, especially since he stars in an anti-smoking ad. The backlash led to Akshay terminating his contract with the brand. When a previously shot ad of him, SRK and Ajay surfaced online last year, fans believed that Akshay might have returned to the brand.

Akshay immediately clarified that an old ad was shot before he terminated his contract but is being aired now. “These ads were shot on 13th October, 2021. I have not had anything to do with the brand ever since I publicly announced the discontinuation of the endorsement. They can legally run the already shot ads till the end of next month," he said in October 2023.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay, SRK and Tiger are having a busy summer. Ajay recently released two back-to-back films. He was seen in Shaitaan which was followed by the release of Maidaan. Both films impressed critics. He is now working towards wrapping up Singham Again. On the other hand, Shah Rukh has been on the move. He has been spotted in cricket stadiums, cheering for his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Tiger recently made headlines with his film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The actor shared the screen with Akshay Kumar. The big-budget film was expected to do great business at the box office but failed to draw in the audience.
