Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan recently flew to his hometown in Delhi. Upon reaching the city, the actor went to his parents, Mir Taj Mohammed Khan and Lateef Fatima Khan’s grave in a cemetary to pay respect to them.
Pictures of his visit have surfaced on social media. Bollywood paparazzo Viral Bhayani shared a couple of shots of the megastar praying in the cemetary. “When #shahrukhkhan is in Delhi he never misses to pay respects to his late parents,” he wrote.

Shah Rukh never fails to visit his parents’ resting place to pay respect. He has addressed this in his interviews by saying that he makes it a point to do so whenever he is in Delhi and hence the city cannot be separated from him, even though he lives in Mumbai.
The actor’s father, Mir Taj Mohammed Khan passed away when he was a child. On the other hand, his mother Latif Fateema Khan passed away in 1990 from cancer.
Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK will be making his highly anticipated come-back in films with War director Siddharth Anand’s action thriller. Titled Pathan, the film will see Shah Rukh paired up with Deepika Padukone for the third time.
The film will reportedly be a part of the same cinematic universe as Salman Khan’s Tiger films. Salman recently confirmed that he and Katrina Kaif will appear in a cameo in Pathan. The film will also reportedly have a high-octane fight sequence on the top of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.
Shah Rukh also recently announced his collaboration with Alia Bhatt. He will be co-producing a film with her titled Darlings. Starring Alia and Shefali Shah, Darlings will be the first project of Alia’s production house Eternal Sunshine.
