Aishwarya Rai, who made a comeback into films this year with 'Jazbaa' has started shooting for her next film 'Sarabjit'. Based on the life of slain prisoner Sarabjit Singh who died in 2013, the film is being directed by Omung Kumar .
Aishwarya will be seen playing Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur. The first look of hers from the sets have been leaked. Dressed in simple salwar kameez, the actress has donned an older look with specs and grey hair.
The biopic also stars Randeep Hooda in the titular role, Richa Chadha as his wife and Darshan Kumar as a Pakistani lawyer.
