Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has shared the first post on her Instagram account after her wedding invite was leaked online. Sonakshi is tying the knot with her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, as per the leaked invite and multiple media reports. Amid the ongoing buzz around her upcoming nuptials, Sonakshi has reposted a reel on her Instagram story that featured Heeramandi episodic director Mitakshara Kumar’s interview.
In the reel, Mitakshara is all praise for Sonakshi and reveals that she is a “director’s actor”. Mitakshara added, “You don’t even have to tell Sonakshi. We used to read and discuss scenes. I would tell her about my (perspective) of the scene and that’s it! She would deliver. Sometimes she would do a scene in one take and I would tell her that I want something like this in this scene, she would just say, ‘okay’. No discussion, nothing. And she would do exactly that.” Sharing the reel, Sonakshi wrote, “you are a treat, Mitakshara.”
Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are getting married later this month, as per their leaked wedding invite which has gone viral on Reddit. The wedding invite also includes an audio QR code which features a sweet message from Sonakshi and Zaheer.
“To all our hip, tech-savvy and jasoos friends and family who has managed to land on this page, hi,” the note begins with Sonakshi greeting the invitees. “For the last seven years that we have been together, all the joy, love, laughter and many, many adventures has led us to this very moment,” Zaheer continues. “The moment where go from being each other’s rumoured girlfriend and boyfriend,” says Sonakshi, before Zaheer adds, “To being each other’s definite and official husband and wife.” “Finally! This celebration will not be complete without you so drop whatever you’re doing on the 23rd of June and come party with us. See you there,” the couple concludes the message.
As per the leaked invite, the party will take place at Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant, Bastian, in Mumbai. The dress code for the evening is formal and festive. The card also has “the rumours were true” written on it.
