Stree 2: Meet Bhumi Rajgor, Actress Who Replaced Flora Saini As Stree In Shraddha-Rajkummar Rao Film

Stree 2 Spoilers Ahead: Stree 2 finally released today, August 15, and it revealed that a new actress has been roped in to play Stree. In the first film, Flora Saini played the woman under the red veil. However, the closing credits of the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rai starrer film revealed Bhumi Rajgor played Stree. Thus confirming that Bhumi has replaced Flora. But who is Bhumi Rajgor? She is a Gujarati actress, who was seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha last year.

Bhumi hails from Ahmedabad and began her acting career in Gujarati cinema. As per her IMDb page, she has so far done three projects — Hurry Om Hurry (2023) and Fakt Mahilao Maate (2022) in Gujarati and Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023) in Bollywood. In Satyaprem Ki Katha, she played the role of Kiara Advani’s sister. Last year, Bhumi had hinted she was up for a major role in a Bollywood film. With Stree 2’s release, it seems like she was referring to the Amar Kaushik film.

At the time of reporting, Bhumi has close to 70k followers on Instagram. She has shared photos with several stars, including Kartik Aaryan and Madhuri Dixit. While sharing the post with Kartik, she said, “Say hello to my on-screen jiju @kartikaaryan. Super excited to be playing a little role in a magnanimous blockbuster bollywood movie coming your way this year!!” Sharing a photo with Madhuri, she wrote, “Dream come true .” The actress, in an interview with Ahmedabad Times, Bhumi confessed many people think she looks like Madhuri.

About Stree 2:

As the trailer already revealed, Stree 2 revolves around a new demon terrorising Chanderi. A headless monster named Sirkata is kidnapping women in the dead of night, prompting the return of Stree. Chanderi is once again in peril, and Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and his friends—played by Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana—are on a mission to save the village. They are joined by the mysterious “Girl With No Name” (Shraddha Kapoor), who warns them that they have only a few days to defeat the demon, or else all will be lost. They join forces to stop Sirkata.
