Earlier several reports claimed that Tara Sutaria has been roped in to play Yash’s love interest in his highly anticipated film Toxic. While there was no confirmation on the same, Tara herself has now cleared the air around the speculations.
Taking to her Instagram story on Friday (July 26), Tara wrote, “Hello all! The articles released over the last few days about a project and I are false and not shared by me.” The actress added, “Whenever there is something to share, I will share it with all of you! My love always. PS – Nobody is second to anyone.”
According to a recent report by Peeping Moon on July 23, it was stated that Tara will play one of the two love interests of Yash in the upcoming film Toxic, with Kiara Advani cast as the other. The high-octane, multi-lingual film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Nayanthara as Yash’s sister and Huma Qureshi in a negative role. Set against the dark backdrop of the drug mafia, Toxic will feature Yash in a gritty gangster avatar, promising an intense cinematic experience.
The makers have not revealed the information about the additional cast members yet. The fans of the actor have been waiting for updates regarding the shooting schedules of the movie. The wait is now over. As per reports, the first shooting schedule of the movie is set to begin in the second week of April. The makers have not announced this officially yet.
According to reports, it was believed that the first shooting schedule of the movie was to be shot in London, Goa or Sri Lanka. However, as per the recent update, the primary schedule of the movie is expected to take place in Bangalore. An action-packed scene will be reportedly shot in Bangalore. After the Ugadi festival, the superstar Yash will join the sets of Toxic which is currently expected to be in production in Bangalore.
Apart from the shooting schedule information, speculations regarding the lead actress of the movie are also currently making rounds. Recent reports claimed that Kareena Kapoor Khan will be making her Kannada debut with the movie Toxic. Her participation in the Yash movie started making rounds after the actress confirmed that she was onboard a big South film while interacting with her fans during the promotion of the film Crew.
After several theories and speculation started to form a major chunk of rumours regarding the cast members of the movie, KVN Productions reportedly issued a statement and asked the fans to wait for the official confirmation. “The casting process for the film is near completion, and we are thrilled with the team we have onboard,” stated a statement issued by KVN Productions and Monster Productions as quoted in the report of Republic.
