This Actor Left Producers With Huge Losses In His Last 3 Films, Failed To Deliver A Hit In 5 Years
In 2019, he enjoyed the biggest success of his career starring alongside Hrithik Roshan.

When Tiger Shroff made his debut 10 years ago with Heropanti, he was touted to be the new-age action hero. A skilled martial artist and gymnast, Tiger jumped, flipped and kicked his way to success. People were taken in with his daredevil stunts which became his USP. Heropanti became a success at the box office and Tiger Shroff followed it up with the action-packed Baaghi, which was also a big success at the box office. However, just two films in, Tiger’s career trajectory gradually started becoming unstable.

Baaghi 2 was a semi hit but his other venture, The Flying Jatt was panned by critics. It was a no-show at the box office. In 2019, Tiger enjoyed the biggest success of his career with War, however, his credit was not alone as he shared screen space with Hrithik Roshan in the movie.

At present, Tiger is going through the worst phase of his career. In the last 5 years, all his films have tanked at the box office. Many are wondering if this is the end of Tiger’s career. In the last 5 years, Tiger had three releases in the form of Heropanti 2, Ganapath and this year’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. All of them were made on a considerable budget and had high expectations but ended up being box-office duds.

Heropanti, made on a budget of Rs 100 crore, could earn only Rs 36 crore at the box office. The film was also critically planned. Ganapath was made on a big budget of Rs 200 crore and was billed as India’s first post-apocalyptic movie. However, the shoddy screenplay and direction were criticised profusely and the film earned a shockingly low amount of Rs 13 crore. A sequel that had been planned was immediately shelved.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was supposed to be the comeback film for both Tiger and Akshay Kumar, who is also in desperate need of a hit. Once again, luck did not favour them and the huge film with a budget of Rs 350 crore earned just Rs 97 crore. It looks like Tiger’s stunts and physical skills are not able to guarantee a hit anymore. According to media reports, the makers have collectively suffered a loss of approximately Rs 500 due to these three films. Tiger’s film Rambo, announced three years back, seems to be in jeopardy now as insiders reveal that the film may be shelved due to Tiger’s recent spate of flops. There is no official confirmation yet, though.
