Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan will officially hit cinema halls on October 10. Ahead of its theatrical release, post-production work is in full swing. The actor has also kickstarted the dubbing season for Vettaiyan, glimpses of which were shared by the makers on Saturday. On its official X handle, Lyca Productions dropped a high-spirited BTS video of Rajinikanth from the dubbing studio.
Exuding his usual swag and style, Rajinikanth looks dashing as always in a simple white kurta and vesti. As the video played, the superstar could be seen getting out of his lavish car and entering the studio along with the technical team of Vettaiyan and director TJ Gnanavel.

The main highlight remains the dialogue delivery of Rajinikanth in his popular baritone. He also seemed quite pleased with the overall process, as he praised the director and saluted him in a gesture of admiration.
Going by the flow of events, it seems like Rajinikanth has completed his portion of dubbing for Vettaiyan, as he recently left Chennai for Vizag and is shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial. Others such as Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan have already wrapped their dubbing.
Featuring a star-studded ensemble of Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Faasil, Warrier, Vijayan, Rana Daggubati, GM Sundar and Rao Ramesh, among others, Vettaiyan is made under Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions. Anirudh Ravichander is also set to deliver his music to the film. The film marks Bachchan and Rajinikanth’s first collaboration after three decades. They worked together in the 1991 film Hum.

According to reports, Rajinikanth will be portraying the role of a retired police officer, who will unveil a dark mystery. Vettaiyan is slated to lock horns with Suriya’s Kanguva at the box office on October 10. “Target locked VETTAIYAN is set to hunt in cinemas worldwide from October 10th, 2024! Superstar as Supercop! Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi & Kannada!” the makers announced earlier this month.
