Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput exemplify ultimate couple goals, without a doubt. Prior to Mira’s arrival in Shahid’s life, he was known as a notorious casanova, having been linked with celebrities such as Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, and others. However, since marrying Mira, Shahid has become devoted to her alone, and has not been romantically connected with any of his co-stars.
A few years ago, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput appeared on ‘BFFs With Vogue’ with Neha Dhupia. During the show, the host asked Shahid how many co-stars he had romantic relationships with. Unflinchingly, Shahid revealed that he had such a relationship with only two of his co-stars.
Upon hearing Shahid’s statement, Mira Rajput and Neha Dhupia were taken aback. Mira challenged Shahid’s claim, asserting that he has actually had more than two romantic relationships. She mentioned that they had previously discussed this, and Shahid had acknowledged having more than two relationships with his co-stars. Mira went on to add, “I just thought there were more. What about what you told me, you told me others na.”
Shahid Kapoor began his career as a charming ‘chocolate boy,’ quickly gaining a massive female fan following in the entertainment industry. Before marrying Mira Rajput, Shahid had a serious relationship with Kareena Kapoor, which ended due to irreconcilable differences. Subsequently, Shahid was rumored to be involved with his ‘Kismat Konnection’ co-star Vidya Balan, though neither confirmed nor denied the relationship.
Shahid’s name was also associated with his ‘Kaminey’ co-star Priyanka Chopra. The two were frequently spotted together and even lived in the same neighborhood. The actor was recently seen in Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, opposite Kriti Sanon. Following its theatrical release, the film is now also streaming on OTT at Amazon Prime Video.
TBMAJ, however, opened to mixed reviews from audiences and critics. The story revolves around a robotics engineer named Aryan, who unassumingly falls in love with Sifra, a highly intelligent robot. However, their story takes a turn after Aryan discovers Sifra’s original identity.
Following his latest outing, Shahid is now shooting for Rosshan Andrrews’ Deva. Also featuring Pooja Hegde, the film is slated for release in theatres later this year. He also has another high-octane action film titled Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues. The film was announced earlier this year at the Prime Video Presents event. To be directed by Kannada filmmaker Sachin B Ravi, the film will be available for streaming on the OTT platform after its theatrical release. According to reports, the film will focus on the immortal warrior Ashwatthama from the mythological epic Mahabharata.
“As the mystery of a legendary figure thrust into the chaos of the present day unravels, the film explores the inner psyche of an immortal being, revealing how he perceives the world he has witnessed for thousands of years,” the official plot-line read.
