When Sushant Singh Rajput Was A Background Dancer In This Famous Bollywood Song
Born in Patna, Sushant Singh Rajput pursued Mechanical Engineering at the Delhi College of Engineering (later Delhi Technological University).

Sushant Singh Rajput carved a lasting legacy in Indian entertainment through his roles in two soap operas, two dance reality shows, and nearly a dozen films. Despite his relatively short career, spanning 12 years, Sushant amassed a significant fan following, admired for his ability to bring diverse characters to life. However, before stepping into the world of acting, Sushant had an impressive academic background.

Born in Patna, he pursued Mechanical Engineering at Delhi College of Engineering (now DTU) after securing an All India Rank of 7 in the AIEEE entrance exam in 2003. Despite his promising future in engineering, he made the bold decision to drop out and chase his passion for acting.

Very few people know that Sushant Singh Rajput has been a background dancer in one of the most iconic dance songs of Bollywood, Dhoom Again from Dhoom 2. Although Hrithik Roshan, with his enigmatic dance moves and persona, made it very difficult for fans to spot anyone but him, eagle-eyed fans will be able to spot Sushant Singh Rajput as one of the background dancers.

This was in the year 2006 before Sushant had made his debut on television. Having learnt dance at Shiamak Davar’s dance academy while pursuing his engineering, being able to bag a background dancer’s role in Dhoom 2 along with Hrithik was a big career achievement at that point.

Apart from Dhoom 2, Sushant had another big milestone the same year. He was once again a background dancer in Aishwarya Rai’s performance at the closing ceremony of the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Sushant Singh Rajput’s journey into acting took a significant turn when he was spotted by a casting team from Balaji Telefilms while performing at Prithvi Theatre. His talent caught their attention, and he was soon invited for an audition. This led to his casting as the second lead in the television series Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil in 2008. The role marked his entry into the world of television, eventually paving the way for his rise to stardom.
