ollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP politician Raghav Chadha are married now. The couple tied the knot at The Leela Palace in Udaipur on Sunday, September 24. Their wedding was an intimate affair with family members and close friends in presence. For her special day, Parineeti opted for a pastel colour lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra. Raghav complemented his bride in a traditional sherwani.
Parineeti opted for a blush pink lehenga and minimal makeup and heavy kundan jewellery with hints of green emeralds and turqouise gems, while Raghav was charming in an ivory sherwani. She wrote in the caption, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now .. ”
Many of Parineeti’s Bollywood peers took to their social media to wish her and Raghav on the special occasion. Among them were Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
Sharing a beautiful, monochromatic photo of the couple on her Instagram Stories, Alia wrote, “Congratulations dearest of all ones… wishing you both a wholesome ride ahead… welcome to the club”.
Dropping an evil-eye emoji, Katrina wrote, “Many congratulations and wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and togetherness!!!”
Karan Johar, who couldn’t attend the wedding due to a family emergency, wrote, “Only love and blessings for you @parineetichopra and huge congratulations to you @raghavchadha88. How gorgeous you both look.”
Soon after Parineeti and Raghav shared the first photos from their wedding, several Bollywood celebrities including Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, Farah Khan, Esha Deol, Manish Malhotra and Neha Dhupia were amongst many others who wished the couple a happy married life. The wedding was attended by Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra, actress Bhagyashree, Sania Mirza, Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra and Delhi and Punjab chief ministers Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, respectively.
