South Korean boy band BTS’ popularity is not just restricted to the country. Their fame has now reached a global pinnacle, thanks to its members — Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, J-hope, V, SUGA, and RM. Now, seems like their fandom has paved the way for their ardent admirers aka the BTS Army to get a sneak peek into their behind-the-camera personal moments. Disney Plus is all set to release an eight-part docuseries titled BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star shedding light on the septet’s illustrious journey to stardom on December 20. Ahead of the much-anticipated premiere of the documentary, BTS’ official social media handle released an art clip on November 29 featuring the seven members.

The BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star art clip shows small video montages played on a speedrun capturing some special moments of the boyband collected together. The first clip takes us back to 2013 when BTS made their debut under BigHit Entertainment. From having lunch together to performing at events, spending time with each other, celebrating their wins, and clicking group selfies — the art clip offers glimpses of the BTS group in a heartwarming display. If not anything, the video definitely captures their emotions and documents their bonding which commenced in 2013 and the years that followed continuing still today.

The BTS Army was taken into a frenzy soon after the art clip was announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) and reacted to the video. “Cried after watching it. What an amazing journey, so lucky to be an army," noted one fan. “Magical journey with “Magic Shop" background music—lucky ARMY experience!" quipped another. “Wow! This looks so exciting!" came a third excited response.

On the same day as the art clip release, BigHit Music released the trailer of BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star. The trailer was infused with some feel-good moments of BTS members tracing the day they started their careers to the day they reached remarkable milestones. The septet was also seen engaged in executing exhausting rehearsals before every performance. As the video progressed, SUGA revealed jokingly that the pressure was so overwhelming that he felt like quitting. RM said, “We worked our tails off, life was difficult."

Along with the happy moments, BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star will also delve into the times when the boyband hit rock bottom and encountered significant lows. Serous discussions and glimpses of personal interviews will also feature in the docuseries.
