After Madras Cafe, Yodha, actress Raashii Khanna has signed her third Hindi film. Buzz is that, the actress has been paired next to Vikrant Massey for her next.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Vikrant and Raashii have reportedly come on board for a love story which would be directed by Bodhayan Roy Chaudhury. The debut filmmaker has also written Vikrant’s upcoming thriller, Sector 36. The report also stated that the shoot for this film has already begun and will be wrapped by November 2023. The plot and other details of the story has been kept under wraps as of now. The film is slated to release in the first half of 2024.
Raashii Khanna’s Yodha which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani is all set to release this December. The film is touted to be an action thriller, backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Of late, Raashii Khanna has been exploring the Hindi entertainment industry. She was recently seen in
Raj & DK’s Amazon Prime series, Farzi with Shahid Kapoor. Prior that, she also starred in Ajay Devgn’s Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, the Indian adaptation of the British series Luther.
Vikrant on the othe hand is currently awaiting the release of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, which is all set to hit the theatres on October 27. The film is based on Anurag Pathak’s best-selling novel on the journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi.
Apart from these two films, Vikrant also has Aditya Nimbalkar’s Sector 36, Taapsee Pannu’s Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, and Devang Bhavsar’s Blackout with Mouni Roy.
