Hrithik Roshan’s Birthday Note For Dad Rakesh Roshan Is All Things Love

Director and producer Rakesh Roshan celebrated his 74th birthday on September 6. To mark the special occasion, his son, actor Hrithik Roshan penned a note on Instagram. Sharing a selfie with his father, Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik wrote, “I know how to be a soldier and a fighter only because of the way I have seen my father live his passions and hardships. Thank you for teaching me something only a few lucky ones get to learn from their fathers. It’s the best thing I’ve gotten from you. Happy birthday, Papa. From a son and a soldier for life!” The father-son duo is seen sporting bright smiles and dressed casually. The father took note of this special wish and replied, “Duggu blessings & happiness always.”

Several other celebrities from the industry wished him a happy birthday. Zoya Akhtar wrote, “Happy Birthday Rakesh Uncle.” Others including Salim Merchant, and Karan Singh Grover, also sent their wishes.

Earlier, Rakesh Roshan uploaded a photo from his birthday celebration at home, which featured his wife Pinkie Roshan, Hrithik’s sons Hridhaan and Hrehaan, Pashmina Roshan, Suranika, and Eshaan Roshan, among others. Hrithik’s girlfriend, Saba Azad, was also present at the celebration. Hrithik appears to have taken the snapshot because he is missing from the family portrait. Rakesh Roshan is all smiles and is seen sitting with his cake surrounded by the entire family. Along with the picture, Rakesh Roshan wrote, “Thank you family for the countless memories we have made together.”

Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan will soon begin work on Krrish 4, the fourth instalment of their superhero franchise following Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3. Reportedly, the film is currently in its pre-production stage.

Updating about his much-awaited project Krrish 4, Rakesh Roshan had told India Today, “We are absolutely ready to take the step forward. However, looking at the situation today where films are not doing well and collections are not matching the production costs, we are not immediately looking at it. It is going to happen, but not for a year. Probably after that.”

Hrithik Roshan will next be seen in Fighter. He plays an Air Force officer in the film, which is currently under production. It is his third collaboration with filmmaker Siddharth Anand, following Bang Bang and War. For the first time, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will be seen sharing a screen. The film is slated to be released on January 25.
