The highly anticipated wedding of Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha is set to become a fairytale event. Scheduled for September 24 in Udaipur, the pre-wedding festivities have already kicked off with a Sufi night at Raghav’s Delhi residence on September 20, attended by numerous prominent personalities. The couple appears to be going all out to ensure a grand celebration and guest’s comfort, as they have reserved luxury properties like The Leela Palace and The Taj Lake Palace in the City of Lakes. On the other hand, the bride and groom have secured the most expensive suite for themselves for their special occasion.
As per India Today reports, Parineeti and Raghav have opted for the Maharaja Suite, for their wedding stay. This 3500 square feet suite offers breathtaking views of Lake Pichola. It features a spacious living room, a study, a dining area and a master bedroom along with a walk-in wardrobe. The suite’s king-size bathtub, jacuzzi, separate shower stall and water closet enhance the luxury, promising the couple an unforgettable experience.
Meanwhile, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, along with their friends and families, will be flying to Udaipur on the evening of September 22. The wedding promises to be a culinary delight, with renowned chefs invited to prepare delicious Punjabi and Rajasthani cuisine for the guests. The couple has planned to welcome their guests in true Mewari style, featuring performances of the traditional Ghoomar dance of Rajasthan. Adding a touch of romance, Raghav will make a grand entrance at The Leela Palace in a boat decorated in Mewari style to pick up Parineeti.
According to NDTV, the festivities will begin with mehendi and haldi ceremonies on the first day. Bengali artists have been tasked with decorating the venue with green, yellow and red coloured roses to create a lively atmosphere. For the wedding ceremony, elegant white flowers will be used, which are said to be sourced from Kolkata, to decorate the mandap where the couple will tie the knot. A dedicated team of 60 skilled workers will execute the floral work.
On September 23, a delightful welcome lunch is organised for guests from 12 noon to 4 pm. The celebration takes a nostalgic turn with a 90s-themed sangeet planned at The Leela Palace. On the big day, the baraat will depart from the Taj Palace at approximately 2 p.m. The main ceremony, which includes the exchange of jaimalas, pheras and vidai, is scheduled to conclude around 6:30 pm.
Fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva has created a stunning wardrobe for Raghav for the wedding celebrations, while the beautiful bride, Parineeti Chopra, is set to grace her big day in an ensemble crafted by Manish Malhotra.
