When Kareena Kapoor Spoke About Priyanka Chopra's Hollywood Success: 'I Don't Have The Same...'

Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan have shared an on-again off-again friendship over the years. They often took digs at each other on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. However, fans were shocked to see the duo appearing together as guests on the show’s finale last season and appreciating one another. This appearance came after a pregnant Kareena had lauded Priyanka’s success in Hollywood in the show’s previous season. The video is now making rounds on the internet.

Kareena said, “I feel like, you know, what Priyanka has done is something that I don’t know if everyone has that kind of courage and dedication. I don’t. I am passionate about acting. I am passionate about Hindi films.”

Karan then interjects and asks, “Do you think Deepika will be able to cut it like Priyanka has?” Kareena replied, “I have no idea, I’m sure she will. But Priyanka is extremely talented. She knows how to, you know, the way she talks, when you see her giving her interviews, she makes you feel like you know, she does India proud somewhere as a proud Indian because she conducts herself really well.”

Recently, Karan Johar also hailed her for making it big in Hollywood. Talking to ET Canada in Toronto, Karan said, “To see her (Priyanka Chopra) grow from strength to strength, and truly achieve the kind of success that she has on her own terms… and the way she has gone about it, she is always wonderful on every platform that she has ever been on, everything that she ever stands for and represents.. it is fantastic.”

This came after Priyanka had spoken to Hollywood actor Dax Shephard earlier this year and said that she decided to move to Hollywood because she had “beef with people” and was tired of the “politics”.

While Priyanka did not take any names during the conversation, many assumed she was hinting at Karan Johar. However, all “beef” seemed to have been resolved when Priyanka was a guest with Kareena on Koffee With Karan. The episode had many moments of uproarious laughter due to their banter.
