The leading car maker in India Tata Motors has been grabbing all the headlines nowadays, thanks to the upcoming Nexon Facelift, which is scheduled to launch on September 14, 2023. A lot of details have already been revealed online. Now, the most crucial pieces of information related to the price detail also has been leaked online, unintentionally by the company.
Tata Motors has issued an official statement regarding this which reads, “The pricing of the of the new NEXON and new Nexon.ev will be announced on 14th September 2023. Any related information that you may see prior or being reported in media is misleading and factually incorrect. The new Nexon is a major upgrade on design, innovation, technology, safety, comfort and performance.”

Recently, a user commented under the upcoming Nexon facelift post on Instagram, asking the price of a range of the vehicle. In a reply, the brand wrote that the upcoming Nexon facelift will come at the starting price of Rs 7.39 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company immediately removed that comment. But, the action got delayed as some auto enthusiast took a screenshot of the reply and dropped it on the internet.

Going by the company’s reply, if Nexon’s base model XE hits the market at the above-mentioned price range, the vehicle might attract a lot of customers as the price is quite lower compared to the existing version.

The updated Nexon will with multiple changes. The list includes a multifunctional two-spoke steering wheel, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, a 360-degree camera along with both ends parking sensors, an automatic sunroof, and a wide 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supported by all car connect technology.
2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Engine
The customers will get the same engine option as the ongoing model, which will come with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. The petrol unit will be mated with a 5-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and AMT gearbox. While the diesel ones only get the 6-speed manual gearboxes.
Meanwhile, interested customers can now pre-book the vehicle by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000. The booking can be made either by visiting the authorised showroom or online through the company’s official website.
