CTET Result 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE organised the exam on August 20 for which more than 29 lakh candidates had registered. While 80 per cent of the registered candidates had appeared in the examination. Now, the candidates are waiting for the results.
According to media reports, the result of CTET 2023 can be released at the end of September. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this at the moment. Candidates are requested to keep an eye on the official website ctet.nic.in for updates.
The CTET 2023 scorecards of the candidates will be made available on the website at ctet.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check their scores by entering their roll number, password, and captcha here. Apart from this, the result of the exam will also be made available on DigiLocker. At present, CBSE is going to release the answer key of the exam on which objections will be invited from the candidates.
Based on the objections raised by the candidates will the CBSE release the CTET 2023 final answer key and result. Those who clear the exam will next have to apply for job posts and vacancies across CBSE schools in the country. Candidates will thereafter be called for interview rounds. Those who clear the interviews will be selected for the posts of teachers. Candidates must note that the CTET certificate would be valid for a lifetime.
Out of the 29,03,903 candidates registered for the exam, 15,01,719 candidates applied for paper 1 and 14,02,184 for paper 2. The 17th edition of CTET was held in 3,121 examination centres throughout India in 136 cities.
As per the CTET marking scheme released by CBSE earlier, candidates belonging to the unreserved category must get at least 60 per cent, or 90 out of 150 marks to clear CTET. While students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), and People with Disabilities (PWD) categories, must receive 55 per cent, or 82 out of 150 to pass the exam.
