Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services company, has appointed Elizabeth Mathew as its head of LeaD, an initiative aimed at promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within the company. The announcement has been made through an internal communication.
“I am pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Elizabeth Mathew (Liz) as the head of TCS LeaD,” Chief Human Resources Officer Milind Lakkad said in an email to employees. Elizabeth Mathew has been associated with TCS since 1989.
He also said Liz takes over from Anant Haidale who, after a successful stint in HR, has moved to take up a leadership role in the Manufacturing Business Group.
Now, head of diversity and inclusion Preeti D’Mello and Brinda R, head of leadership careers, will now report to Mathew, according to email.
TCS has seen several key management roles since July this year.
Mathew’s appointment is one of the several leadership changes made by the company’s newly appointed CEO K Krithivasan, who took over the charge from Rajesh Gopinathan in June 2023.
