Over 5.21 lakh students who had enrolled in SSC have been declared pass by the Telangana Education Department. Of the total students, 4,495 students had failed the exam, however, these students were also promoted to the TS Inter First Year.
Nearly half of the students have got full marks or 10/10 GPA. This year as many as 2.10 students got 10/10 GPA. Students are given GPA or grade point assessments instead of marks as the results were announced without holding any exams.
This year, the state board has decided to finalise the Telangana SSC result by scaling up the formative assessment (FA) marks. Usually, the FA or formative assessment marks for only 20 per cent of the total evaluation. Students can download their individual marks memos are available at the official websites, tbse.telangana.gov.in, result.cgg.gov.in.
The result was finalized on May 20 and sent to the state education minister who finalized the result. In case a student has any issue in their marks memo they can reach out to the respective school principal. The principals can collect such data and then reach to board for rectification.
As per schedule, the result was declared and the link to check marks or download marks memo was available 11:30, however, many students had complained that the website was not working. In such a case, students can refer to alternative websites including indiaresult.com, examresults.net, and manabadi.co.in. However, complaints persisted even hours after the result declaration.
Once Class 10 students are able to login to check their results using the roll number provided to them, they can download their mark sheet. Following this, students are required to verify their credentials and checking spellings like their name, parents’ name, school details, and subjects apart from checking the total marks in the memo. If there is any error with the result, students must flag the issue to the Telangana board authorities at the earliest.
