The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the interview schedule for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination, 2023. Candidates who are selected for the interview round can access the schedule by visiting the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. As per the UPSC result 2023, a total of 39 IES candidates and 88 ISS candidates have been shortlisted for the interview.
According to the released official notice, the Personality Tests (Interviews) for the IES/ISS Examination 2023, will commence on December 18. The interview sessions will be held in two parts each day, with the first session starting at 9 am onwards and the second session at 1 pm onwards.
Candidates who did not submit their Detailed Application Form (DAF) within the specified date and time, their candidature shall be cancelled. These candidates will not receive an e-Summon Letter, as previously instructed by the Commission.
Reimbursement facilities
To facilitate candidates appearing for the interview, the Commission has decided to provide reimbursement for travelling expenses. However, this reimbursement is limited to the Second/Sleeper class train fare (Mail Express).
E-summon letters or call letters for the Personality Tests (Interviews) will be available for download shortly on the Commission’s Website.
Candidates are advised to keep a close eye on the official website, upsc.gov.in, and upsconline.in for the release of these letters.
Candidates who successfully appeared for the examination on August 24, 2023, and met the qualifying criteria are eligible to participate in the upcoming personality test.
UPSC IES, ISS 2023 Interview Schedule: How to check
Step 1: Go to the official website at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, navigate and click on the ‘Interview Schedule: Indian Economic Service – Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2023.’ link under the What’s New section.
Step 3: A PDF will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Check the dates for the Personality Test/Interview you are selected for.
Step 5: You can save the PDF or get a printout for further use.
Importantly, the Commission also clarifies that requests for any changes in the date and time of the personality test (interview) will not be entertained. For additional details and updates and E-summon letters, candidates are encouraged to refer to the official UPSC website.
