Australia allrounder Mitchell Marsh has had a memorable 2023 when he repeatedly hit the headlines with his performances.
Marsh has once again in the news this time due to his cheeky antics. On the first day of the ongoing third Test against Pakistan in Sydney, the Aussie was seen asking for a high-five from the on-field umpire.

Marsh’s hilarious gesture, however, went in vain as the umpire did not reciprocate with another high-five.
The funny incident, which took place during the 30th over of Pakistan’s first innings, left Australia skipper Pat Cummins in splits.

Marsh had an impressive outing with the ball having picked up one wicket in his seven overs on the opening day of the Test. He claimed the wicket of Pakistan captain Shan Masood who was dismissed for 35.
His good-length delivery did the trick as Masood ended up getting a thick edgeto be caught by Steve Smith at second slip.
Marsh seemed to have dismissed Masood 10 balls earlier but it was overruled after the Aussie all-rounder was found to have overstepped.
Needless to say, Marsh looked utterly disappointed and had a wry smile on his face following the reprieve.
