Noida traffic restrictions on Janmashtami

The traffic police have set up a parking space in Sector 25A for the ones visiting the Noida ISCKON temple.

Times of India quoted DCP Traffic, Anil Kumar Yadav as saying that only journalists and people working at the media houses will be allowed to travel into the Film City Road on Thursday.

Traffic movement will be restricted from the NTPC road underpass to Gijhore Chowk on both sides of the Maharaja Agrasen Marg, beside which the ISCKON temple is located. Yadav further said, “People moving from Gijhore to Sector 18 and Atta market will take a left turn for Hoshiyarpur village and drive to City Centre and beyond.”

Meanwhile, Times of India also quoted the assistant PRO of ISKCON Temple in Noida as saying that the temple management expects a footfall of 5 lakh. “The celebrations will start at 4:30 am and will continue till late Thursday night”, he added.

General slowing down of traffic and congestion on roads is likely and people have been  advised to plan their journeys keeping the festivities and related congestion in mind.
