57. Bassi is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Dausa (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bassi falls in Jaipur district and Central region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,08,283 voters in the seat, which includes 1,07,892 male voters, and 1,00,391 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Bassi recorded a voter turnout of 80.46%. In 2013 the turnout was 79.76%, and in 2008 it was 70.5%.
In 2013, Anju Devi Dhanka of IND won the seat by a margin of 11,339 votes (7.88%). Anju Devi Dhanka secured 33.42% of the total votes polled.
IND won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 21,932 votes (19.02%), registering 46.91% of the total votes polled.
