Bangalore: Former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa was on Wednesday discharged from a hospital to go the Bangalore Central jail.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader had surrendered before a court on Saturday in connection with land denotification scam after he was denied bail by the Lokayukta court.
His discharge from hospital came just hours after reports of his being upset with veteran party leader Lal Krishna Advani on corruption in Karnataka.
According to sources, he was hurt by the comments of Advani and wanted to go to jail despite his poor health.
The former chief minister was discharged from the Victoria Hospital where he was admitted citing stress.
Earlier, he was admitted in the Jayadeva Heart Hospital on complaints of chest pain after his arrest.
