Chalfilh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Chalfilh falls in Aizawl district and Aizwal region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 18,410 voters in the seat, which includes 9,363 male voters, and 9,047 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Chalfilh recorded a voter turnout of 80.59%. In 2013 the turnout was 81.86%, and in 2008 it was 82%.
In 2013, Dr Ngurdingliana of INC won the seat by a margin of 3,728 votes (26.42%). Dr Ngurdingliana secured 50.84% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 543 votes (4.11%), registering 37.31% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, INC led in the Chalfilh Assembly segment of the Mizoram Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
