With no proper business taking place for the last two weeks in Parliament, the government has convened an all-party meeting on Friday afternoon to make an attempt to end the stalemate that has crippled the Monsoon Session.

The all-party meeting has been convened by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be meeting his top ministers before the session on Friday.

According to sources, the government is trying to find a way out. However, the Congress and the Left are adamant of the demand of resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan before any discussion takes place.

Both the Houses of Parliament have not been able to function since last week with main opposition Congress and a few other parties aggressively raking up the demand for Swaraj's resignation over her alleged help to tainted former IPL chief Lalit Modi in getting travel documents to fly out of Britain.

What's your reaction?
