New Delhi: As controversy brewed over Robert Vadra-Priyanka Gandhi land deals, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Saturday lashed out at the Modi led-Central government for targeting the couple.
"We had proof of a number of leaders and their kins but we never harassed them. We knew which businessman is the supporter and funder of BJP but the Congress has never raided them," Azad added.
In response, Subramanian Swamy tweeted:
Ghulam N Azad says he knew of the wrong doings of BJP leaders but did not harass with cases. I challenge him to make public a single case !— Subramanian Swamy (@Swamy39) April 29, 2017

According to the Dhingra report, Vadra is believed to have bent the rules aided by Former Haryana chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to swing profitable land deals for his business.
In response to the allegations, Priyanka Vadra hit back on Friday that the agricultural land bought by her in Haryana's Faridabad district had no links to the finances of her husband Vadra’s Skylight Hospitality or the DLF.
The statement from Priyanka's office came after Robert Vadra was asked by reporters whether a portion of the money he had received from the DLF was used by his wife to buy properties in Faridabad.
In the statement, Priyanka said that six years prior to the alleged "land deal involving Skylight Hospitality" she purchased 40 kanal (five acres) agricultural land in Faridabad. She said the land was purchased for Rs 15 lakh through cheque.
