100 DAY TASK FOR PARTY WORKERS
Fixing a 100 day task for the BJP workers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the task is to reach every new voter, every beneficiary in the next 100 days. “We have to achieve everyone’s trust,” he said.
When everyone’s efforts are involved, the maximum seats to serve the people of the nation will also be won by the BJP, the prime minister said.
VIKSIT BHARAT SANKALP IS THE DREAM
PM Modi pointed out that ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp’ is the dream, adding that, the next five years are crucial for achieving that dream. “We have to work hard in this time to take a large leap,” the prime minister said.
But before all this, PM Modi said, BJP’s return for a third-term is crucial.
“There are echoes of “NDA sarkaar, 400 paar.” To make this a reality, BJP must secure over 370 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” he added.
WORKING FOR RASHTRANITI, NOT RAJNEETI
PM Modi said that “ten years of clean image and bringing 25 crore people out of poverty” was not an easy feat to achieve.
“A senior leader once told me I had done enough as PM and CM, I should rest. But I am working for Rashtraniti, not Rajneeti,” he said. PM Modi said that he lives on the ideals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and takes inspiration from him. “I’m not asking a third term for myself, I live for the future of all,” the PM said.
“I am not someone who lives for my own happiness. I am advocating for a third term for BJP not for political gains, but for the benefit of India,” he said, adding that, “My efforts are dedicated to the people of India. The dreams of Indians are my commitments.
My efforts are dedicated to the people of India. The dreams of Indians are my commitments.”
PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITIES TO COME FOR WOMEN
The prime minister said that he was the first PM to raise the concerns of toilets from Red Fort, the first PM to bring forward women’s issues and said that the BJP is bringing together the power of women, youth, poor and the farmers in building a Viksit Bharat.
In the times to come, there will be plenty of opportunities for mothers, sisters and daughters, PM Modi said, adding that “Mission Shakti will create a complete ecosystem for the protection and empowerment of women power in the country.”
He said that 15 thousand women Self-helf Groups (SHGs) will get drones. “Now Drone Didi will bring scientificity and modernity in farming. Now 3 crore women in the country will be made Lakhpati Didi,” the prime minister added.
10 YEARS CHARACTERISED BY BOLD DECISIONS, FUTURISTIC POLICIES
PM Modi said the past ten years have been characterised by “bold decisions and futuristic policies”.
“We have dared to complete tasks that had been left unfinished for decades. Whether it was the construction of the Ram Mandir, the opening of the Kartarpur corridor, the abrogation of Article 370, or the implementation of the New Education Policy, these changes were long-awaited by the people of India,” he added.
NO OTHER PARTY WILL PROMISE A ‘VIKSIT BHARAT’
PM Modi took a sharp jibe at the Opposition and said that even though they don’t know how to fulfill their promises, they still “don’t hesitate to make false commitments”.
“Despite this, they lack the courage to make one promise… no opposition party will promise you a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Nor do they question us about it. These parties have acknowledged that they cannot lead India to development,” he said.
He said that BJP is the only party and NDA is the only alliance that aspires to make India developed by 2047.
INDIA STANDS AS 5TH LARGEST ECONOMY
It took India 60 years to reach a $1 trillion economy milestone, the PM said, adding that 10 years of his government has “propelled it to a $3 trillion economy”.
He pointed out that the previous (UPA) government failed to take India from the 11th to the 10th largest economy in the world and in comparison, the BJP brought India to the top five.
“Today, India stands as the 5th largest economy, and our infrastructure budget has surpassed Rs. 11 lakh crore,” he said.
‘ONE INDIA-BEST INDIA’ REFLECTS IN GOVERNANCE
PM Modi also noted that the spirit of One India-Best India is visible in the governance. “North-East was completely ignored in the earlier governments. But we do not work for votes and seats,” he said.
He further added, “For us, every corner of the country should be prosperous and developed, this is our feeling.”
In this regard, PM Modi noted that the Cabinet has a “record number of ministers from North East”. “For the first time, a woman has become an MP in Rajya Sabha from Nagaland. We are proud that for the first time we have given a place to a person from Tripura in the Council of Ministers,” he said, adding that “For the first time in our government, Arunachal Pradesh has got a cabinet minister.”
He also highlighted the saffron party’s culture which ensures record OBC representation in the ministry.
“Our government is for everyone. Everyone’s support, everyone’s development is reflected in our work only,” the prime minister said.
INDIA’S GROWING RELATIONS WITH THE WORLD
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today, every country in the world is keep on building deeper relations with India.
From a government’s standpoint as well, PM Modi referred to how he has invitations from other nations for talks in July, August and September, which is well after the Lok Sabha elections.
“This means that various countries of the world are also completely confident about the return of BJP government,” the said, adding that “Every country and power in the world knows that only Modi will come.”
PM’S SLAM ON CONGRESS
Taking a hit at the Congress, the prime minister said that the grand-old party has become so “desperate that it does not even have the courage for principled and ideological opposition.”
“Therefore, abuses and false allegations against Modi have become their only agenda,” he added.
WHAT AMIT SHAH SAID
Home Minister Amit Shah hailed PM Modi’s work in creating such an identity for the nation that the people feel pride, not just within India, but on a global scale.
He said that the pride of the nation goes around the world. “When people from India go anywhere in the world, the people there say that you have come from Modi’s India,” Shah highlighted.
Shah attacked the Congress and the INDI Alliance for its dynasty politics and said those who can’t foster democracy within their party cannot protect the democracy in the nation.
However, he said, the paradigm shift in India, under PM Modi’s leadership is clearly visible. He said that the prime minister freed the nation from corruption, casteism, dynasticism, among other things, adding that he established the “politics of performance”.
Lauding PM Modi’s efforts towards the people of all castes, tribes and genders, Shah said, “Modi ji is like the flame of a lamp, which burns itself to dispel the darkness”.
RESOLUTION AT NATIONAL CONVENTION
The saffron party also proposed a second political resolution named ‘BJP Desk Ki Aasha, Vipaksh ki Hatasha’. The resolution was proposed by Home Minister Amit Shah and seconded by Union Minister Arjun Munda.
Meanwhile, the national convention passed a revolution on the Ayodhya Ram Temple, asserting that it indicated the establishment of “Ram Rajya” in the nation for the next 1,000 years.
“The construction of a grand and divine temple of Lord Shri Ram at his birthplace in the ancient holy city of Ayodhya is a historic and glorious achievement for the country,” the resolution said.
It said that every aspect of Indian civilisation and culture hold the presence of Lord Shri Ram, Sita and Ramayana. Our Constitution, dedicated to our democratic values and justice for all, has been inspired by the ideals of Ram Rajya, it said.
The idea of Ram Rajya was also in the heart of Mahatma Gandhi who used to say that it is the idea of true democracy, the resolution said.
