Chandigarh: Actress and BJP MP from Chandigarh Kirron Kher on Friday flayed the Director of a prestigious technical university after "not finding her name" on the plaque during the foundation stone laying ceremony here.
The first time MP also said she raised the matter of "non-acknowledgement" of her work on public platform so that in future it should not be repeated.
"I am little hurt today because I felt none of the plaques had acknowledged my presence," Kher said while addressing the gathering here.
She was here to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of 'Mango Grooves Garden' at PEC University of Technology at Sector 12 here.
"Prof (Manoj K) Arora, I take strong objection to that. I am very sorry to bring it up over here. I have never done this in the past. But I felt that injustice has been meted out to me for the last 15-16 months in this regard," she said.
