30. Lunglei North is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Lunglei North falls in Lunglei district and South region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 16,199 voters in the seat, which includes 7,913 male voters, and 8,286 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Lunglei North recorded a voter turnout of 86.36%. In 2013 the turnout was 88.49%, and in 2008 it was 86.6%.
In 2013, P C Lalthanliana of INC won the seat by a margin of 870 votes (6.65%). P C Lalthanliana secured 47.15% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 705 votes (5.82%), registering 40.55% of the total votes polled.
