Imphal: Relief for Manipur finally as the 68-day-long blockade imposed by the Naga outfits has finally been lifted with security forces reaching the area.
Three battalions of the Central paramilitary forces are in Manipur and one in Nagaland. One company of the Mahila battalion has also been airlifted there.
However, reports say Naga leaders are divided over lifting the blockade. The Students Federation may have agreed to lift the blockade but the All India Students' Association and the United Naga Council are not ready to blink just yet.
