Punjab has lagged behind during SAD-BJP rule: Hooda
Hooda said that even a small state like Haryana has left Punjab behind in all spheres.

Munak: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday alleged that Punjab has lagged behind in terms of development during the SAD-BJP rule and asked the voters to bring back Congress to power.

"Punjab has fallen way behind during the SAD-BJP rule, the Congress Party is the right choice in Punjab as only it can keep the nation united and take it forward," he said at a public meeting.

Munak town is part of Lehra Assembly constituency from where former Chief Minister and Congress candidate Rajinder Kaur Bhattal is in the fray.

Hooda said that even a small state like Haryana had left Punjab behind in all spheres.

He claimed that Punjab was spending only 22 per cent of money on real development and 78 per cent was being spent on salaries and other expenses, whereas Haryana was spending 52 per cent on development.

He charged the SAD-BJP government with being self-centred, having no concern for people or their development.
