Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has dissolved its Uttar Pradesh unit following the party's rout in the Lok Sabha elections. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will, however, remain the party's state President.
Earlier this week, the party had sacked 36 leaders with the Minister of State rank.
