TN govt hikes bus fares and milk prices

New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Thursday announced hike in bus fares and milk prices and blamed Centre for the price hike.

Jayalalithaa slammed Centre for not providing enough funds for the state.

"The Congress government at the Centre only wants to help the state where they are in power or where their allies are in power. With no financial support from the Centre and with the state facing huge debts, I'm forced to increase rates of essentials," she said.
