Ashu believes that her entry into Telugu cinema was purely coincidental. Ashu shot to fame with her stint in the popular reality show Bigg Boss Telugu season 3. There has been no turning back for her since then.

Ashu recently acted in the film A Masterpiece: Rise of Superhero, directed by Suku Purvaj. Arvind Krishna, Srikanth Kandragula, Manish Gilada, and others have also acted in this movie. Cinema Bandi has produced A Masterpiece: Rise of Superhero, which is currently at the post-production stage. The exact date of the film is not known yet.
