Rumours about actress Swasika Vijay’s marriage to an individual within the entertainment industry were doing the rounds recently. This has now proven accurate, as the actress has confirmed she is set to marry her former co-star, actor Prem Jacob. In an exclusive interview with a portal, Swasika shared her happiness, stating, “Yes, we are getting married this month. Happy to announce this news to all. Wishing your love and support,” putting an end to speculations. Renowned for her roles in Seetha and her current role as the host of Red Carpet, Swasika has charmed audiences in both television and movies.

Prem and Swasika previously portrayed a couple in the acclaimed TV show Manampole Mangalyam. Swasika gained recognition for her role as the titular character in Seetha, transitioning into films with the upcoming Vivekanandan Viralaanu alongside Shine Tom Chacko.

Prem Jacob, a beloved figure in Malayalam TV, left an impression as Rishi in Kabani and in Manampole Mangalyam and Namam Japikkunna Veedu. Presently, he is immersed in his role in the Tamil show Nee Naan Kadhal.

Prem Jacob joined Manampole Mangalyam as a replacement for Sreekanth after 100 episodes, and his on-screen chemistry with Swasika received widespread acclaim from fans. The duo’s compelling performances and connection brought a new dynamic to the show, establishing them as a beloved pair in the hearts of the audience.

Swasika Vijay recently addressed rumours about a supposed relationship with actor Unni Mukundan, dismissing it as the most amusing joke she’s heard ever. Speaking during a promotional interview for the film Vivekanandan Viralaanu, she clarified the absurdity of media speculation, particularly during January, regarding her marriage. Swasika laughed off previous rumours, highlighting the exaggerated nature of stories, such as the one about her and Unni Mukundan, emphasising their professional rather than personal relationship.

Swasika expressed bewilderment over her name being linked to Unni Mukundan, Manikuttan, singer Sreenath, and serial co-star Shanavas. She stated that she has no insight into how these stories are fabricated.

Swasika made her entry into the film industry through the Tamil film Vaiga. Her debut Malayalam movie, Fiddle was released in 2010. Notably, Swasika initially gained recognition through her appearances in television serials. Swasika has portrayed notable characters like Prabhu’s Makkal, Ritvik Roshan in Kattappana, and roles in films like Porinju Maryam Jose and Chaturam. Her outstanding performance in the film Vasanti earned her the State Film Award for Best Character Actress in 2019.
