‘He Looked Angry’: Rambha Recalls The Moment Rajinikanth Was Upset With Her
Rambha, recounting incidents on the set, revealed that Rajinikanth used to indulge in pranks while shooting the film.

Actress Rambha, once a popular name in Hindi and South film industries, recently opened up about her career. She recalled a fun incident involving legendary actor Rajinikanth when they were shooting for the film Arunachalam together. Rambha played the role of Nandhini Rangachari in Rajinikant-starrer Arunachalam. She recalled, “In the North, hugging each other is a part of the culture. As we hugged, Rajini Sir was sitting, watching it all. Later, after Salman left, Rajini Sir looked angry and there was something off on the sets. He was talking furiously to everyone, and people kept looking at me. I was wondering what did I do. Then the cameraman came to me and asked ‘Why did you do this? Rajini Sir is angry with you.’ I didn’t have a clue what was wrong. The whole set is like this (pranksters). I was told that Rajini Sir would not act with me. I started crying.”

Rambha went on to add that the Jailer actor rushed to her, mimicking how she welcomed Salman Khan and ran to him when he visited the set. She further revealed that the Robot actor complained that she never greeted him this way and only said ‘Hi, sir’. “Sundar C sir also fueled the fire and sided with Rajini sir,” she said.

Rambha, recounting another incident on the set, revealed that Rajinikanth used to indulge in pranks while shooting the film. He used to pull people’s chairs behind while also ensuring that he did not hurt any of them. Well, despite the actress’s clarification that she was only sharing her memorable experience of working with the actor, a section of people on social media trolled him for his behaviour whereas a few others came out in support of the actor.
