New Delhi: Google will award cloud credit worth $1 lakh to the start-up that will qualify for its Launchpad Program.

"We are delighted to carry forward the vision and align with 'Start Up India Stand Up India' efforts, with a special session focusing on early stage start-ups by providing them a platform to present their ideas to the world under our Launchpad Program," Google South East Asia & India VP and MD Rajan Anandan said in a statement.

The company has short-listed five start-up firms Reap Benefit, Cardiac Design Labs, Guru-G, SlamdunQ and Sbalabs.

In the next two days, Google has opened up a public voting for selection of their favourite start-ups. Top three start-ups from these votes will receive an invite to join the next Google Launchpad Week and the final winner will be selected by an eminent panel of judges.

The winner will get $1,00,000 worth Cloud Credit, which means that the firm can use software, storage or any other facility available on cloud.
