New Delhi: Embracing the newest trend of layering biometric security to mobile phones, homegrown Intex Technologies has introduced its first fingerprint sensor smartphone- Aqua Secure.
Intex Aqua Secure comes with a 4.5-inch display and under its hood is a 1GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM. The affordable smartphone further includes 8 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB. It comes powered by a 1900mAh battery.
The phone features a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front snapper.
The highlight of the budget device is the fingerprint sensor that is located at the rear panel and allows user to click selfies, and access gallery other than just unlocking the phone.
Intex Aqua Secure further comes with 4G/VoLTE support and additional features include Matrabhasha service that enables communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi.
Another highlight of the device is support for USB Type-C port for charging.
The phone is available in two colour choices- Golden and Grey with matte finish back cover and priced at Rs 6,499.
