Sharma has also spilled the beans about the specifications, mentioning that the Indian variant of the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which was Qualcomm’s flagship chipset before the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Additionally, Sharma confirmed that the phone will be available in a dual tone red and white colourway with a textured finish on the back.
It’s worth noting that the Chinese variant of the same device will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, suggesting that iQOO might create differentiation for the Indian market.
Regarding the rest of the specifications, the device is expected to feature a large 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will come with a dual rear camera setup consisting of the 50-megapixel Sony IMX 920 as the main sensor and another 50-megapixel ultra-wide unit. A 16-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter is also expected. Moreover, it could ship with Android 14 out of the box.
