LG has officially launched the V35 ThinQ, which the brand is touting as a new ‘faster, smarter V series phone.' While LG fans may still be waiting to get their hands on flagship phone LG G7 ThinQ, set to be released June 1, the company has just unveiled a newer, more premium addition to the V series family, which will arrive in stores on June 8. The latest model, LG V35 ThinQ is a revised version of what was unveiled back in February with the V30S. Packing a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and more memory, 4GB of RAM is now 6GB, the V35 ThinQ should make everyday handling even smoother. Users should also have better-quality selfies with the new 8-megapixel lens that replaces the 5-megapixel one. The rear camera setup is a 16-megapixel (Standard) and 16-megapixel (Super Wide Angle).

Following in the LG G7 ThinQ's footsteps, the newest addition now comes with the brand's latest built-in AI tools for the camera, as well as Google Lens. This provides tons of shooting modes and object recognition for better organisation of photos and even shopping. Probably the biggest difference between the G7 and the V35 is the screen. This time around it's an OLED screen, with… wait for it…. no notch. However will that be enough to justify the price gap? In the US AT&T has announced that preorders start on June 1 and customers can buy the LG V35 ThinQ for $30 a month for 30 months, giving the device a total price tag of $900, whereas the G7 sells for $750.

Other specs include a 6-inch OLED display (2880 x 1440 pixels / 538ppi) along with the scratch-resistant Corning®Gorilla®Glass 5 and a IP68 rating for dust/water resistance. The battery pack is a large 3,300 mAh, which should get an average user throughout the day without needing a charge. Depending on the amount of storage is needed, LG offers two options. The V35 ThinQ with 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and a microSD slot with a capacity of up to 2TB or the V35+ ThinQ, which has all the same features except double the internal storage, 128GB.
The LG V35 ThinQ ships with Android 8.0 Oreo to the Americas starting in June followed by limited markets in Asia, Middle East and Africa.
