OnePlus is reportedly planning to launch its new tablet called the OnePlus Pad Pro soon and some new leaks have given us a sneak peek into its key specifications. The company introduced its first tablet last year in April. As per reports OnePlus Pad 2 has been delayed until next year and the company is likely to launch another flagship tablet for the users.
As per a report via ITHome major accessories for the OnePlus Pad Pro, such as a keyboard and stylus, have been FCC-certified. Also, the keyboard will be produced by Tinlong Mobile and will have the model number OPK2402. It is expected to feature a six-row key setup, a big touchscreen and an NFC chip.
For the stylus, it is said to include an FPC Bluetooth antenna, which allows it to connect to the tablet wirelessly. As per the leaker TECHINFOSOCIALS, the upcoming flagship device will sport a 12.1-inch 3K LCD with a peak brightness of 900 nits and a resolution of 3000×2100 pixels. OnePlus Pad Pro is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Being a tablet, you can expect the Pad Pro to be equipped with a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for taking selfies and making video calls. It is likely to come with a large 9510mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity features, the tablet is speculated to have Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 7 and NFC which is default for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Lastly, the device is tipped to support a stylus with a built-in linear motor.
Most of these features are rumours for now as OnePlus has still not officially announced the existence of the Pad Pro model but that should happen soon. The first OnePlus Pad model launched for around Rs 40,000 with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset but it seems the company is now ready to battle it out with premium brands by offering a Pro moniker to the lineup.
