The legacy of Super Mario has found a new platform to enthral its users.
Apple recently launched the mobile version of Super Mario by the name of ‘Super Mario Run’ on its iOS platform.
The legendary game found its way onto the Apple platform for the very first time and is now available for iPhone and iPad users.
To ease it to the level of iPhone user base, the game has been tweaked to allow users to play it single-handedly.
As Mario automatically runs left and right, the users can change his direction by a single tap.
Aim: to make it successfully through each level.
The game allows a trial play of the first three levels. Afterwards, users have to pay Rs 620 to unlock all the 6 ‘Worlds’, with each world having 4 levels.

The game captures the essence of the traditional Super Mario in a beautiful manner with a 'Kingdom' theme. As the players collect more and more 'toads' (coins) by playing, these toads can be spent to upgrade their kingdom. The upgrades also contain surprise hidden games and other bonuses.
The game has two modes – Single Player (Tour) and a Multiplayer (Rally) in which users compete with each other to collect more toads on their way to the finish line.

The disappointing feature of the game is that it requires a constant internet connection to run.
While most of the ‘free run’ games work without the internet, a major reason for their high downloads, this comes as a surprise from Nintendo.
Also, the game can be considered to be costly by many users as compared to other games in this category which are mostly free of cost.
