Vivo V5s has been launched on Thursday and this smartphone is an upgrade from the Vivo V5 that was launched last year.
The V5s also features the same 5.5-inch screen size this time. It is topped with a 2.5D glass design with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
In terms of other specifications, a 1.5GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC powers the device along with 4GB of RAM. The V5s runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS. A 3,000mAh battery powers the smartphone.
The Vivo V5s has a 20-megapixel front camera with ‘Moonlight flash' for selfies and video calling. The rear snapper in the V5s is 13-megapixel with PDAF and LED flash. The smartphone has inbuilt storage of 64GB and also supports a hybrid microSD card for expanding memory up to 256GB.

The smartphone will start retailing offline and online at Rs 18,990.
Vivo V5s will be available in Crown Gold and Matte Black colour variants.
The pre-bookings for the smartphone will start from today while the first sale of Vivo V5s will begin from May 6.
In terms of connectivity, the Vivo V5s supports 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, OTG support, a microUSB port, Accelerometer, Light sensor Digital compass and Smart Split 2.0 amongst others.
