Xiaomi today launched its Mi Note 2 smartphone with curved 3D glass on both front and back at its event in Beijing. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is similar to the dual-edge curved display found on the flagship Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and the company calls it “two-sided dual curved” display.
Sporting a 5.7-inch flexible OLED, the device will be available in three memory options- 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM at CNY 2,799 (which roughly translates to Rs 27,620), 6GB RAM/ 128GB Rom version at a price of CNY 3,299 or around Rs 32,560 and the 6GB RAM/ 128GB ROM model at CNY 3,499 or Rs 34,532.
Featuring an aluminium body, the device is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor and is backed by a 4,070 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
It comes with a 22.56MP rear camera with Flash along with an 8MP front camera. Other camera features include Sony IMX318 Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, EIS and 3-axis gyroscope stabilization for 4K videos.
In China, the smartphone will support wireless Mi Pay payments via NFC and comes with global LTE support. There is no official word on its availability in India.
