Divya Agarwal and Apurva Padgaonkar have embarked on a new chapter of their lives. The couple tied the knot on February 20 in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. A few days before their wedding, the couple delved into various aspects of their relationship in an interview. They candidly discussed the transformations they’ve witnessed in each other lives. Divya also shared how Apurva helped bring back her faith in temples after her father’s passing.
During an interview with Etimes, Divya shared, “Earlier, all of this was missing. He has brought me back to life. When my father passed away and left us, I had stopped going to the temple, I had stopped believing in things. But he reinstated faith in my life, so for that, I’ll always be grateful to him.”
Reflecting on the changes Apurva has brought into her life, Divya remarked, “I think he has got me back to what I was. In between I had become the Divya Agarwal but now I’m what I was earlier and that credit I give to Apurva. I’m back to my roots with a sense of progress in my life. I’m a very rooted actress, I don’t want 10 people around me to do things for me. I can do it for me. When I come back from home, I’m a normal girl who likes to cook food and enjoy it with her family.”
On the other hand, Apurva expressed how much Divya means to him, saying she has added immense value to his life. He feels more stable and grateful for her presence, considering it incredibly special.
Recently, Divya shared a video on her Instagram handle, giving her fans a peek into her wedding celebrations. The footage captured adorable moments between the couple during the cocktail night. Divya captioned the video, “The music was pumping, the food was flowing, and the laughter was contagious! Our Mehndi was a celebration of love, culture, and some serious shoe game skills!!!”
