Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer won the hearts of viewers with their performances in the popular show Imlie. As the lead pair, they garnered immense love from fans not only for their on-screen chemistry but also real-life friendship. However, it now seems that things have changed, as Fahmaan has made a shocking revelation about no longer being friends with Sumbul. During a podcast interview with Siddharth Kannan, Fahmaan opened up about what went wrong in his friendship with Sumbul.
Fahmaan shared, “Cheeze ho jaati hai yaar. When you are done with a show and focus on your life, you don’t get much time as such. This topic often attracts a lot of strange comments from people.” He continued, “For me, it’s very important to stay the way I am. I still feel we are connected. We want the best for each other. But current circumstances are such that we do not wish to stay in touch with each other at this point.”
However, Fahmaan shared that he sometimes comments on her posts or stories, and she replies. “It is not how it was before, but that thing is there, and we keep it to that,” Fahman added.
The actor also mentioned that he does not miss his friendship with Sumbul. He admitted that it still hurts but said, “When someone dies, you move on. Here she is alive, and there is no stress. Sometimes, we will cross paths.”
Fahmaan Khan started his entertainment journey with a short film Ver Joints in 2014. Later, he appeared in recurring roles in several shows including Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Ishq Mein Marjawan and more. In 2020, Fahmaan starred in leading roles in Apna Time Bhi Aayega, Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii, and Imlie. He is currently the lead actor in Krishna Mohini, where he stars opposite Debattama Saha. In the show, he plays the role of Aryaman “Arya” Mehta, while Debattama portrays the role of Krishna Joshi.
Meanwhile, Sumbul Touqeer is seen as the lead actress in Kavya- Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon opposite Mishkat Verma.
