From brave snake handlers to thrill-seekers getting close to crocodiles, these clips never fail to surprise us. Recently, a video has surfaced online showing a man riding a tiger. Yes, you read that right. These powerful animals are known as apex predators, making this interaction both thrilling and risky. However, the authenticity of the video cannot be confirmed.
In the Instagram clip shared by digital creator Nouman Hassan from Pakistan, the man casually sits on the back of a massive tiger as it walks through an open area. Two cages are also seen in the background, housing a lion and a lioness.
The video, which has garnered nearly 3 lakh views, has left many viewers feeling unsettled, prompting a wave of criticism on social media. Most reactions focus on criticising man’s actions and raising concerns about the safety and ethics of riding a powerful animal like a tiger.
One frustrated user didn’t hold back, commenting, “The most stupid being I’ve ever seen.”
Another added, “I don’t find it funny, that’s not the place to have an animal that belongs to the jungle.”
The outrage continued as one user wrote, “Don’t abuse power.. those animals are not meant to be ridden,” while another added, “Don’t hurt that animal, it’s not here to carry your weight, besides keeping it locked up, are you going to mistreat it?”
“Why why why? It’s not a horse! its back is weak,” lamented another commenter.
One viewer wrote, “Those animals don’t like to live like that, they should be freeeeeeee.”

This isn’t the first time Hassan has shared videos featuring tigers. Despite facing criticism, he continues to post photos and clips of these majestic but dangerous animals. Last year, he sparked controversy by sharing a video of a child confidently holding a tiger’s chain while walking around with the animal.
Accompanied by Diljit Dosanjh’s song Case, Hassan’s video showed a young boy smiling as he walks alongside the powerful big cat in a specific area within the room. This video quickly went viral, raising concerns among social media users about carelessness and animal cruelty. While Hassan hasn’t revealed his relationship with the child, comments on his other videos indicate that the boy may be his nephew.
